Mutton Gravy

Ingredients
  • 375 gm Mutton
  • 2 tbsp yogurt
  • 1 tbsp cream
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tbsp crushed black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
  • 2 lemon’s juice
Gravy Sauce
  • 3 cloves garlic chopped
  • 2 small onions chopped
  • 2 tomatoes chopped
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 1/2 tsp cumin powder
  • 1/4 tsp white pepper
  •  2 tbsp tomato ketchup
  • 1/2 tsp ciander powder
  •  Salt to tast
  •  1/2 tsp crushed black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp crushed red chili
Method
  • Marinade the mutton with yoghurt, cream, salt, black pepper, red chili and lemon juice. Mix it well and leave it for half an hour.
  • Now take a steamer and put 1 jug of water in it. When steam gets ready, put mutton pieces in steamer and steam it for 30 minutes.
  • Now for gravy heat the oil in pan and stir fry the garlic. Add onions and cook it for 2-3 minutes on medium heat. When onion becomes soft then add tomatoes, coriander powder, salt, crushed red chili and tomato ketchup. Mix it all well, then add crushed black pepper and white pepper, stir it continually.
  • Now add steamed mutton in this gravy, dish out when gravy is coated over mutton. Don’t overcook it because mutton is already cooked and soft.
