Mango Chutney

Ingredients
  • Raw mango(big) - 1 no
  • (cut into small pieces)
  • Green chilly
  • Bengal gram(Kadalaparippu) - 2 tsp
  • Coconut - 1/4th of one
  • (scraped)
  • Mustard seeds - 3 tsp
  • Mustard seeds - 1 tsp for seasoning
  • Oil - As reqd
  • Salt - As reqd
  • Curd - 1 cup
Method
  • Fry Bengal gram and dry chilly in oil.
  • Grind it with coconut, mustard and salt into a coarse form.
  • Add water and grind to a thick paste.
  • Add handful cut mango and grind coarsely.
  • Heat oil in a pan.
  • Splutter mustard and curry leaves and pour the paste into it and switch off the stove.
  • Add curd on top of it and mix well.
  • Add the left over mangoes and mix well
