- Potato

- Bengal gram dhal - 1 tsp

- 1/2 tsp

Chili - 2 -3 nos
- Turmeric Powder - 1/4 tsp
- Salt
- As per taste
- Oil
- 3 tsp
- coriander leaves - For garnishing
- Wheat
flour - 2 cups
Method
For
poori
- Mix wheat flour, salt and knead
the dough to hard consistency,don’t add too much water.
- Take a lemon size portion of
the dough and roll it into small chapatti.
- Heat oil for deep frying, once
the oil is heated deep fry the pooris both side till appears light brown.
For
Masala
- Pressure cook
the potatoes and mash them in to bite size pieces.
- Heat oil in a pan,add mustard
seeds,urad dhal,bengal gram dhal fry till it turns golden brown.
- Add the chopped onion,slit
green chilies,curry leaves and turmeric powder mix all this.
- Add the mashed potatoes &
add little water, cook it for 5 minutes.
- Garnish with coriander leaves
and serve for poori.
- A perfect food for kids because
of high calorie content.
Note:For
masala if you need little thin consistency add more water & 2 tsp of besan
powder diluted in water.
For
poori if you wish you can add little suji to get more crispness.
